While it’s always fashionable to be environmentally conscious, this is not what I’m talking about here. What I AM talking about is this season’s hottest color.

Green!

Not just any green, either.  It’s a beautiful minty green that is so soft it could just melt in your mouth. Aaaah, yes. That’s it. Go get some. And while you’re getting some green, grab a few pieces of BRIGHT orange too.

As for the rest, I can sum up runway trends for Spring/Summer 2012 in one word: FUN! Color blocking continues. Then we have super bold and futuristic prints, pastels, metallics, neon colors and peplum skirts, crochet, whimsical prints, tribal prints, kitten heels, head-to-toe stripes. Sounds a little random, doesn’t it? I’ll stick with the word, fun. Crazy, fun. And that’s the kind of summer we are looking for!
